Today is a big day for Ontario. The Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation is kind of Toronto-centric (well, that’s where it started and that’s where a lot of riders engage with it), and so, it’s a biggie.

Matteo’s story is big. Huge. Complicated, yet sadly familiar. I’ve seen it before. Too many times, yet it cuts deep. Matteo shed tears as his mom told his story. And we instantly responded to comfort and reassure that this was OK. Matteo’s story is a success story. At least as far as his leukaemia is concerned. But his treatment will leave long-lasting scars. And that’s not acceptable. – Bruce Crooks
