I’ve been married to my wife Stacey for 24 years now, have 2 happy and healthy kids, and just became a grandfather for the first time. In 2010 I met a young man who would forever change the way I saw childhood cancer. When Adam died in 2012 I signed up for the 2013 Sears National Kids Cancer Ride. I just couldn’t accept that we don’t do more to fight this terrible disease that steals the promise of kids like him. Since my first ride, I’ve met countless kids who continue to show me what it’s like to be a good person. The pureness of heart, and genuine care for other living things that all of these kids have shown me keeps me coming back.
