Craig Tyndall

I have been involved with Coast to Coast for 10 years.  When I started with Tour for Kids, it was about putting a small team together, raising a bit of money, and enjoying a great ride.

It was all that…but so much more.

I’ve learned so much since that ride.  Seeing the struggle of childhood cancer and the toll it takes through the lens of raising my own healthy children, has driven me to give back as much as I can.  We went from a small team of 5 in 2008, to a club and team I helped start called Velocity Cycling Club which has raised close to $1,000,000 for Coast to Coast.

When Jeff Rushton came up with the idea of The Chase, I was instantly on board… a physical challenge layered with a bigger fundraising goal and impact, riding with a great team – fantastic.

I will be thinking of all of the cancer survivor’s stories I have heard over the course of the last 10 years while I ride with my 7 teammates, chasing that bigger National Ride team… The Chase is not over until no parent ever hears these words again: “Your child has cancer”.
